We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Team Lead Recruiter position that will be based in our Human Resources Shared Services department. This position is based in Volusia County, Florida.

The Team Lead will work closely with the Senior Recruitment Manager in daily monitoring of ongoing recruitment processes, programs, and functions. He/she will assist team members with day to day operations and report back to the Senior Manager with urgent matters. He/She participates in the entire recruitment process: receives, sources, and sorts candidates in the applicant tracking system. Selects candidates meeting the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description to arrange screening interviews. Selects the top candidates for further on-site visits at the facility level. Teams with hiring managers and develops a successful working relationship to ensure thorough understanding of staffing needs, position requirements, and facility-specific practices.

Specific job duties include:
  • Leads teams of recruiters as assigned by the Sr. TA Manager.
  • Monitors aging requisitions, applicant by service line reports, hiring manager time to decision reports and recruiter dashboards and provides assistance to recruiters to assure: 1) Applicants are being moved through steps per SLA’s 2) There is a strategy in place for positions open >30 days.
  • Serves as a point of contact to the recruitment team on-site for daily questions and needs. Escalates issues to the Senior Manager as required.
  • Leads team meetings in the Sr. Manager’s absence to discuss recruitment obstacles and successes and help set strategy for aging requisitions.
  • Assures that the weekly hires report is completed by end of day Monday by all recruiters.
  • Participates in interviewing potential team members
  • Coordinates the new hire onboarding and training process
  • Coordinates training and development events for the team
  • Acts as a liaison with HRSS onboarding team. and helps collaborate
  • Participates in Shared Services department meetings.
  • Assures the office supplies are maintained at adequate levels and orders supplies through HRSS TA main office as needed.
  • Interacts daily with hiring managers to evaluate and recommend applicants for employment and to fill vacant positions for assigned facilities
  • Uses good judgment in interacting with all customers, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and corporate policies
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system
  • Provides superior customer service and communicates directly by phone with prospective applicants in a timely manner
  • Reviews requisitions and job descriptions to establish an understanding of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of successful candidates
  • Modifies job descriptions and prepares postings for appropriate job boards
  • Collaborates with hiring manager and Sourcing Specialists to determine recruiting approach and solicit ideas on alternative sourcing methods
  • Establishes an action plan, including timeframe and expectations, for discussion with hiring manager
  • Utilizes telephone and on demand video screenings, resumes, electronic application, certifications/licenses, and assessments to determine if candidates meet the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities to be a good fit for the position
  • Prepares and extends job offers/relocation agreements; Manages counter-offer process as necessary
  • Maintains a base knowledge of relocation, benefit, and corporate policies in order to address applicant inquiries


Qualifications:


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter required, preferably in a healthcare environment

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a management or lead role required, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field required

Certifications:
  • Recruiting Certification such as RACR or AIRS preferred
