This position is responsible for supporting End User Computing Issues. This is a position that provides accurate and timely support services for end user devices. Working under general direction this position is responsible to install and trouble-shoot hardware, software, and network problems for the clients they support. Also provides an assist in the general evaluation of business problems, evaluates and recommends vendor packages, and implements required software. Assists in the evaluation of new personnel, end-user computing packages and equipment as well as in the implementation and testing of prototypes. Consults with client area management and staff regarding end-user equipment problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions. Directs end user training and documentation. P rovides remote PC support and troubleshooting. Provide status reporting, problem summaries, and project status as required. Directs the activities of End User Computing staff where required and also assists in the training of End User Computing personnel. Education- Prefer a bachelors in computer science and or the equivalent of Technical Education and certification. Experience- At least four years of experience in Desk Top Support or Desk Top Help Desks experience. Experience with personal computers and software applications. Ability to learn systems with little or no documentation. Continuous learning of new systems, business processes, and concepts are a must. At least one year of Network Experience as it pertains to Device Connectivity and Network/PC trouble shooting. Fai lure with remote processing and network technology. Technical skills and competencies- A+, MCP, MCSA and Network + Certification; Experience may be substituted for certification where appropriate.

Qualifications:


Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent and Associate's degree in a computer or technology related study. Education may be substituted for certifications or experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer science or an equivalent technical education. Education may be substituted for certifications or experience



Minimum Certifications: A+, Security+ and Network+ required. MTA certification within 180 days from start date in position.

Required Certifications: MCSE or MCSA within 3 years’ time in (senior) level. At least one hardware warranty/parts certification (i.e. HP, Apple, Canon).

Strong Knowledge Base In: Windows 7 or latest enterprise version, Mac, Android and iOS operating systems. MS Office 2007 and newer (minimum 5 years). Lync, WebEx, and other web-based meeting clients. Audio Visual systems knowledge a plus.

Experience: 3-4 years’ experience, as an intermediate, in the enterprise desktop environment, troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, network switches, materials management, inventory control and high customer service skills.
