This position is located at the AIT Offices in Orlando, Florida.

The Revenue Systems Manager – Cerner Registration role is responsible for supervising the analysis, planning, programming, implementation, evaluation, and support of Cerner Revenue Cycle applications and AHS strategic goal initiatives. These applications to include Cerner Registration and Experian eCare NEXT (aka Passport). Understanding CCL, Discern Expert and Business Objects apps is a plus.

The Revenue Systems Manager will report to the AIT Director of Revenue Cycle application.

Approximately 25% travel to site/facilities is required, especially during implementations.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing the direction, organization, and management necessary to effectively and efficiently utilize AHS-IS personnel. This involves leading a group of associates to meet strategic and operational goals of the organization, all the while focusing on mentoring, developing, and building a strong team.

Understanding the revenue cycle environment that exists at AHS and delivering excellent customer service, cost savings, and fast delivery of technologies to meet the requirements of business needs.

Develop application expertise and knowledge and translate that expertise into workable solutions for any opportunities for improvement that are identified by the customer base.

Responsible for establishing and monitoring project work plans, preparing effective workflows and procedures, as well as in the implementation and testing of pilot projects as determined by AHS and AIT.


Candidates must have proficient understanding of Cerner Registration Application, Benefits and Auth Workflows, and Doc Routing. CCL, Discern Expert and SAP Business Objects is a plus. This includes 5 to 7 years’ experience with the Cerner Millennium database architecture, either in an operational or IT support role.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end Cerner systems.

Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with departmental IS staff, hospital administration, ancillary hospital staff, as well as software and other third-party vendors.

Experience generating and tracking to a project plan, communicating with stakeholders and leading subject matter experts.

Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Manages the process of innovative change effectively.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required – preferred in related field such as Business Management, Computer Sciences, Information Services, or Hospital Management.
